PowerConnect Cloud 9.1.0 Release Notes

Overview

PowerConnect Cloud 9.1.0 release. Install the tarball by following the upgrade instructions

New

  • SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) user extract - new daily extractor that pulls every user record from IAS via the SCIM API, including username, name, email, group memberships, account status, and SAP-specific attributes (department, employee ID, user type,etc.). An optional filter scopes the extract to a specific population.

    • Use case: report on active vs. dormant or external users, run joiner/mover/leaver audits, feed identity context into your SIEM or observability platform alongside the existing IAS audit log

  • BTP Destination Service certificate monitoring - new extractor that collects every certificate stored in the BTP subaccount Destination Service with its subject, issuer, valid-from, valid-to, days-until-expiry, signature algorithm and expired flag. PEM,DER, JKS and PKCS12/PFX formats are detected automatically; password-protected keystores are flagged as unreadable so they're still visible in the inventory.

    • Use case: alert on expiring certificates before destination integrations break, maintain a full certificate inventory across subaccounts, support compliance reporting on weak signature algorithms, and detect unexpected rotations

  • SAP BTP Alert Notification Service (ANS) alerts - new poller that streams matched alerts from the ANS Consumer API, including severity, category, subject, body, event type, event timestamp, and the affected resource (subaccount, resource group, name, type, instance) plus any custom tags. Optional filters narrow the stream by severity, category, event type or resource name.

    • Use case: a single ingestion point for native events from across the SAP BTP estate - Cloud Foundry audit events, HANA Cloud, PostgreSQL and Redis hyperscaler instances, Integration Suite, Job Scheduling, Destination Service, Custom Domain, Credential Store, Mobile Services, Cloud Transport Management, Enterprise Threat Detection, and any custom producers; surface security-relevant CF audit and ETD events, watch for infrastructure events (DB capacity, certificate rotations, queue depletion), and correlate alerts with the existing CPI and BTP data.

  • Added a new structure configuration option to the Dynatrace Log Monitoring API output - choose between Dynatrace's flattened (default) and raw log data models.

Changes

  • Configurable SAML identifiers - the SAML application name and service provider name can now be set from the SSO configuration screen instead of only via environment variables, no redeployment required

Bug Fixes

  • CPI inputs would occasionally fail when SAP APIs returned an empty (204) response, this has been resolved
