Prerequisites

Install the PowerConnect ABAP, Java, or Cloud add-on in the required SAP systems.

Configure your SAP environment to send data to Dynatrace by following the instructions in each of the provided guides.

Create a support ticket with Dynatrace to increase the log metric definition limit to 1,000 (original default is 100 definitions). This is needed to ensure that all metrics are able to operate without exceeding the limit.
Installation Guide

Go to your environment credential vault

Click on “Add new credential”

On “Credential type” select “Public certificate”

Upload the “ca.pem” file
-
Save changes.

Go to your environment and search for Dynatrace Hub

Go to “Manage & upload extensions”

Scroll down until you see “Upload custom Extension 2.0”

Upload the bundle.zip file
-
Extension is installed
Post-Installation Configuration (Managed/On-Prem Only)

Go to Settings

Under Log Monitoring, click on “Custom Attributes”

Add the following custom attributes and click “Save Changes”:
