KB 182(ABAP): STATS missing user name (-- ? -- value)

Description

Due to lack of authorization STATS anonymizes user name in statistical records (own user name still populated). In this case following value is stored in the USER_NAME field: “-- ? --”.

Solution

Please ensure following authorizations are assigned to the batch PowerConnect user:

object = 'S_TOOLS_EX'

field = 'AUTH'

value = 'S_TOOLS_EX_A'

object = 'S_ADMI_FCD'

field = 'S_ADMI_FCD'

value = 'STAU' )

They are part of default role profile.
