Description

The SaaS app of PowerConnect for Dynatrace could not share the dashboards you import properly.

Currently there’s a bug on the Dynatrace Dashboard API, where a dashboard can be created but not shared. This issue can occur at random when importing and sharing dashboards through the PowerConnect SaaS App.

Here we have a workaround on how to properly share the dashboards while we work with Dynatrace on fixing the issue:

  1. On the PowerConnect App, select the dashboards to be imported in smaller quantities (10-20).

  2. Follow the regular importing process with the groups you want the dashboards to be shared with.

  3. Import the dashboards and then go to the Dashboards Dynatrace App and check if they were properly shared.

  4. In case some where not shared, share them manually by entering the dashboard and selecting “Share”.
